Hi, I’m Tanvir Ahmed - an Economics & Management student at King’s College London and the writer behind Marginal Matters. I started this blog to bridge the gap between textbook economics and the real world, helping A-level students make sense of policy, markets, and global events through the lens of the Edexcel Economics A specification.
Alongside my studies, I’ve worked at an economics consultancy, engaging in research for clients like Barclays and InPost, and contributed to projects focused on digital transformation in the retail industry. My goal is to make economic theory feel relevant, applicable, and engaging, whether you're revising for exams or just trying to understand the latest budget.
Outside the world of supply and demand, I’m a huge football fan (Manchester United through and through) and spend more time than I should watching nostalgic Premier League moments and the latest transfer news.
